SLIM CONSCIENCES AT A SHADY GRAMMY SHOW!!!
2007
I do not believe in censorship. But, I do believe in truth. I hate Eminem and Elton John with a passion. I will fight for their dual freedom to say and do whatever they choose. I will fight for their fans to purchase whatever they please. Yet, I would rather die than pretend that Elton and Eminem are not blatant liars and hypocrites.
Eminem said that he is not serious when he sings about torturing and hating and murdering his wife Kim. Yet, Kim recently slit her wrists. Elton says that Eminem is not really hateful. Yet, Elton has eternally betrayed his friendship with the late Gianni Versaci by performing with a legendary gaybasher who has recorded a song celebrating Gianni's murder:
"CRIMINAL"
"...Hey, It's me, Versace
Whoops, somebody shot me!
And I was just checkin' the mail
Get it? Checkin the 'male'?..."I hate the Grammy Award officials much more deeply than I hate Eminem and Elton combined, for two reasons:
1. Too many superior black artists never win or are never nominated for any awards. (How the hell could Jill Scott not win an award?!? Her debut CD is one of the best I have ever heard.)
2. To award a toxic, mentacidal, maniacally macho, amoral, misogynist, demented, lunatic wigga with an attitude is to validate the lyrical genocide that he "creates".
I actually think that Eminem foolishly wastes his very real poetic talent on "music" that almost exclusively celebrates hating and torturing women and homosexuals. Other artists have done far less to offend others and they have been crucified and silenced. They are artists like Sista Souljah. Slick Willie (Bill Clinton) won an entire political faction by slandering her as a racist. They include artists like: 2 Live Crew, Buju Banton, Allen Iverson, Shabba Ranks, Angie & Debbie Winans, NWA, Professor Grif, Public Enemy, Michael Jackson, Snoop Dogg, and many others... Unlike Eminem who has been made rich and famous with his far more rabid and raw hatreds, these artists were/are crucified.
Even the very song that Eminem and Elton sang, "Stan", has a homohating message. (I hope that Dido was absent in protest...I adore her song "Thankyou". Eminem samples it in Stan. Elton did it no justice.) In both the video and the lyrics for this typically twisted tale about an obsessive fan named Stan, Stan's obsession with Eminem is fueled by a homoerotic fixation. Eminem's narrative and video images undeniably link Stan's psychoses to his homosexuality. From makeshift homosexual photos to neurotically romantic fan mail, it is evident that Stan is not merely psycho, but specifically a psycho "fag":
"STAN
Stan:
...My girlfriend's jealous cause I talk about you 24/7...
-- P.S. We should be together too...
I love you Slim, we coulda been together, think about it...
You ruined it now...I hope your conscience EATS AT YOU and you can't BREATHE without me...
See Slim; {*screaming*} Shut up bitch! I'm tryin' to talk!
Hey Slim, that's my girlfriend screamin' in the trunk but I didn't slit
her throat, I just tied her up,
see I ain't like you
cause if she suffocates she'll suffer more, and then she'll die too
Well, gotta go, I'm almost at the bridge now
Oh shit, I forgot, how'm I supposed to send this shit out?
{*car tires squeal*} {*CRASH*} .. {*brief silence*} .. {*LOUD
splash*}...Eminem:
...And what's this shit about us meant to be together? That type of
shit'll make me not want us to meet each other..."I am simultaneously stunned, appalled, and pained from what I have witnessed. It has left me pondering: Why the different reactions? Could it be that sexism and gaybashing are just cooler and more acceptable and profitable than racism? Could it be that wiggas wield more freedom and creative license than niggas?...I will never forget the surreal duet between Elton and Eminem. It is akin to the following equally nonsensical and visually suicidal pairings:
Jesse Jackson & Jesse Helms
Hitler & Anne Frank
Marilyn Manson & Kirk Franklin
Ru Paul & Pat Robertson
Mumia Abu-Jamal & President-select Shrub ("George W. Bush")
TLC & a real life scrub/deadbeat baby daddy
Clarence Thomas & Thurgood Marshall
John McWhorter & Marva Collins
Tupac Shakur & C. Delores Tucker
Ice-T & a racist cop
KRS-1 & a Black cop
Hard Knocks & a criminal cop
Rodney King & a brutal cop
Amadou Diallo & a murderous copNo other shockingly ill matched and duplicitous money and fame starved duo would be so embraced by their apolitical capitalist peers. Did President-select Shrub and his Republikkkan Con-vention parody of "Showtime at the Appollo" usher in a new trend of celebrities selling out??? If so, was this repulsive duet between Elton and Eminem not the apex of that phenomenon? Which is uglier: political hypocrisy, financial hedonism, or sacrificial fame?
Why are smug, racist celebrities like Bill Maher reviled for merely posing arrogantly ignorant racial questions, while Eminem is lauded for epitomizing a racist caricature of a rapper, and deliberately selling blatantly misogynistic and homohating lyrics? Is being a rapper a free pass for sheer madness? Does Bill need to lose his trifling talk show and secure a lucrative record contract instead?
Even celebrities that I adore (like Jill Scott, Madonna, Busta Rhymes, a lustfully biased Eminem admirer named Eve, Melissa Etheridge, and many others) used Elton's apathy and ignorance to verbally justify their own. I know for a fact that these artists would not have praised David Duke for recording popular songs bashing Blacks, then performing a duet with Public Enemy. PUBLIC ENEMY AND DAVID DUKE WOULD BE CRUCIFIED!!! Elton and Eminem should be also!
In a legendary interview printed in the November 2000 issue of Gear Magazine, Suge Knight blasted Dre and Eminem:
"I can't stand [Dre]. People say I was cruel to call him a faggot but what's pissing me off the most is that he was dishonest about it. I don't have anything against gay people -- to each his own. Back in the day, we would have parties and he'd pretend to be with all these women. Don't lie to somebody who is supposed to be your friend. That's why Eminem is trying to distance himself from Dre by rapping all this anti-gay shit. He doesn't want to be thought of as Dre's little white bitch."
Dre once publicly beat down a very tiny Black female TV talk show host. This cowardly and shameful incident is recounted in a book entitled Contemporary Musicians. (Farmington Hills: Gale Group, 1989-1999):
"On January 27, 1991, Dre allegedly hit Denise ("Dee") Barnes, the former host of Pump It Up, a FOX-TV show, and tried to push her down a staircase at an L.A. nightclub. Pump It Up had aired a segment about the separation of Ice Cube and N.W.A., with Ice Cube and the members of the group talking about each other. N.W.A. and Dre decided the show made them look bad. After the incident, Barnes filed assault charges and a $22.75 million suit against Dre; He settled out of court."
{Note to Dre: I am much bigger and badder than Dee...Run up on ME!!!!}
Eminem is actually as obsessed with hating women, his wife Kim, his mother, and homosexuals as the imaginary Stan is obsessed with Eminem. Eminem dons a tattoo of a tombstone that reads "Kim Rot In Pieces". His wife is suicidal and his own mother and grandmother have sued him for his lyrics...Clearly, Eminem hates everyone except clones of his male, rapping, and allegedly heterosexual self. As all rabid gaybashers, "Methinks he doth protest too much"... Perhaps Eminem's next shocking awards show duet will be with his apolitical, schizophrenic (As in: "Original Gangsta/Anti-Gangsta/Reborn Gangsta") producer Dr. Dre. As a grand finale, they may both come out of the closet in unison...
Fortunately, 15 minutes of fame do not last as long as eternal karmic debts... Eminem is a disgrace to music. Elton is a disgrace to political homosexuals and posthumous friendship. And, the Grammy Awards are a disgrace to musical artistry.

ANOTHER MISOGYNIST "BEAT-DOWN"
BY
ANOTHER MALE BITCH
"...Some of y'all niggas is bitches too...
"Bitches"
Ice-T
Original Gangsta
Sexism and violence against women are to hip-hop what racism and colorism are to America, innate and acceptable cancers. From naked video whores to woman hating lyrics, bashing females, both figuratively and literally, has become part and parcel of the increasingly evident "artistic" ingredients of this ever popular musical genre. I have often heard fans make statements like: "Hip-hop is not just a musical style, it is a lifestyle. Hip-hop is not just something you listen to, it is something you live..." Well, that lifestyle is making life hellish for females everywhere...
A recent case of deja-vu is a perfect example. Remember when Dr. Dre beat down a tiny Dee Barnes because he was angry at NWA? (See the Eminem column listed below to refresh your memory.) Just weeks ago, same dirt, different duo. Deejay and hip-hop icon Funkmaster Flex (Aston Taylor) of WHQT recently decided to reenact that same cowardly brutality upon deejay and MTV2 veejay Big Steph Lova (Stephanie Saunders) of WWPR. Flex was upset at rap star Nas (Nasir Jones) about statements that Nas made on Steph's show.
According to published reports, the burly 6-foot Flex allegedly crept up on Steph outside of her radio station just after midnight in September. He verbally abused her in front of a small group of friends before punching, choking, and scratching her. At some point during this attack, Steph ran to her car and fled. Flex then threw a wad of cash at her car as she drove away, allegedly to pay for his antics...Again, a woman is publicly brutalized as a surrogate punching bag so that a coward can avoid bucking up to a fellow man.
Real men do not use women as punching bags to avenge their issues with other men. Real men do not "beef", they behave. Stardom is not defined by mayhem and machismo. How do we collectively dub some sanity into the insane mix of fame and feuds?
It is a sexist and cowardly move for any man to save face indirectly by aiming his anger at a safe female target. Such weak and bullyish actions sicken me more than words can express. I hope that the male power brokers at WQHT simultaneously grow consciences and spines, so that they may belatedly do the right thing and dismiss this fool Flex soon. I hope that Flex may soon grow testicles and fists adequate to brawl with men his own size who anger him, as quickly and forcefully as he beat this woman.
It is truly repulsive when any adult must resort to physical violence to avenge any verbal offense or defend any nonviolent act. It is pathetic when any man physically attacks any woman. It is shameful when such weak and brutal antics are condoned by collective silences. It is most shameful when such violent actions evoke jest...
On October 9, 2002, the Internet magazine Electronic Urban Report (ww.eurweb.com)dared to publish a public taunt at the victim, Big Steph Lova! An official web site "news" article about this incident read: "Everybody say it together now, 'Oh, poor wittle steffy weffy'..." Why this jovial insult??? Why no jokes abut the burly, brutal, perpetrator Flex??? Could EUR's author have made a similar cowardly bitch move??? Was it, yet again, just easier to crack offensive jokes about a victimized woman rather than a violent man???
There is nothing jovial about this entire incident! I will never find any humor in a woman being beaten by a man. The joke is on all of us as long as we dare to laugh at such sexist violence. Macho madness reigns globally, while we joke rather than challenge.
As I pen this column on October 13, 2002, Flex is still employed at WQHT, without apology or reprimand. Perhaps his superiors find humor in his antics also. Steph is suing Flex. I hope Flex pays like he weighs!...
Independent FM radio was my first love. I am also a deejay. "Les Chanteuses Africaines"is my favorite and best work to date...
...And, this next song goes out to Funkmaster Flex, and all of his fellow misogynist monsters who enjoy beating down females. Check this wisdom from this deejay: Beware of the law of averages. Some of us sisters will give you EXACTLY what you NEED when you dare to run up on us!!! Nahmean boyz?
There is a message in my music. Listen up:
"HITTIN' ON ME"Ella Johnson1953
I don't want no man who always hittin' on me
The last man that hit me has been dead since '43
We go out Saturday night
And have ourselves a ball
Come back home and fight
Now, that don't make no sense at all
I don't want no man who always hittin' on me
The last man that hit me has been dead since '43
I sneaked around the corner
To have myself a nip
And when I got back home
He up and busted both my lips
I don't want no man who always hittin' on me
The last man that hit me has been dead since '43
Said he hits me 'cause he loves me
Now, isn't that a shame?
How could he say he loves me
and bruise this fine, brown frame?
I don't want no man who always hittin' on me
The last man that hit me has been dead since '43
If you want me Daddy
You got to treat me tenderly!
